Black-Tail Plateau Drive is a gravel road with some interesting sights and wild life. We saw a cinnamon bear (black bear with brown fur — see Mammals) on this road. There are not many back roads in Yellowstone visitors are allowed to take and are actually worthwhile. This is one that is worthwhile. |
Undine Falls |
Petrified Tree standing upright. Yellowstone has a forest of these upright in another section of the park. Unfortunately the main forest is a 5 mile hike one way. |
