Black-Tail Plateau Drive is a gravel road with some interesting sights and wild life. We saw a cinnamon bear (black bear with brown fur — see Mammals) on this road. There are not many back roads in Yellowstone visitors are allowed to take and are actually worthwhile. This is one that is worthwhile.

Undine Falls

Petrified Tree standing upright. Yellowstone has a forest of these upright in another section of the park. Unfortunately the main forest is a 5 mile hike one way.
